Docks
Marine-grade lumber, galvanized hardware, decades of life. Pile-driven foundations.
Kingston sits at the confluence of Watts Bar Lake, Fort Loudoun Lake, and the Tennessee River — one of the most active waterfront markets in our service area. We design, permit, and build docks across all three water bodies for Roane County customers.
Kingston is a Roane County town of about 5,800 people, sitting at the junction of Watts Bar Lake, Fort Loudoun Lake, and the Tennessee River. The result: one of the most water-accessible communities in East Tennessee, with shoreline on multiple TVA reservoirs.
We've built fixed docks, floating docks, lifts, and replacement builds across all three water bodies from Kingston properties. Each shoreline has its own design constraints, but the path is the same: site visit, design, TVA 26a permit, build.

Marine-grade lumber, galvanized hardware, decades of life. Pile-driven foundations.
Tide Tamer, Floatair, WaveArmor, American Muscle — sized to your hull.
Custom drawings, permit packages, build estimates — designed for the lake.
We file every permit, pay the $1,000 fee, and manage TVA review end-to-end.

Kingston properties have access to Watts Bar, Fort Loudoun, or the Tennessee River main channel depending on location. Each has its own seasonal pattern (Watts Bar and Fort Loudoun both run about 6 feet of drawdown; the river is more variable). Build decisions are made based on which shoreline the property actually touches.

Depends on which shoreline your property touches. Most Kingston properties access Watts Bar; some are on Fort Loudoun or the river channel. We figure that out at the site visit.
Yes — Kingston is a regular Blue Horizon service area. Site visits typically happen within the week.
Watts Bar and Fort Loudoun are TVA-managed and require 26a. River-channel properties typically do too — we'll verify at the site visit.
Most often floating — the seasonal drawdown on both lakes favors it. Fixed docks suit deeper, sheltered coves.
4–7 months from signed contract, dominated by TVA permit review. Construction itself runs 2–5 weeks once permits land.
