Who We Are

A Tennessee dock builder you can actually reach.

Blue Horizon Docks and Decks is owned and run by brothers Christian and Sergio Rodriguez. We build, repair, and replace docks on every major lake within reach of Chattanooga — and a lot of private lakes in between.

Every dock we deliver is built by our own crew on our own work barge. No subbing it out, no surprise hand-offs. From the first lake-side walk-through to the final board, you talk to the people doing the work.

What We Build

Docks, Lifts, Decks & Everything Around the Water

Full-service waterfront construction — from new builds and demolition to lifts and blueprint work for the dock you've already got in mind.

Custom Docks

Fixed and floating docks, designed for your lake and built in-house. Pressure-treated framing, aluminum floating systems, composite decking, marine hardware — with tear-out and replacement of aging docks rolled into the same project.

Boat & PWC Lifts

Tide Tamer lifts for fixed docks, Floatair for floating, and WaveArmor / American Muscle for jet skis and PWCs. Sized to your hull, slip, and water depth.

Blueprints & Custom Layouts

Bring us a sketch, a Pinterest board, or a permit drawing — we'll build to your blueprint, or design one with you from the lake out.

TVA 26a Permits — Handled

Sign a build with us and we cover the $1,000 government permit fee and manage the full submission process. That's our job, not yours.

Included With Every Build

We Pay the $1,000 Permit Fee — You Don't.

Building a dock on a TVA-controlled or county-managed lake means paperwork, fees, and waiting. When you sign your dock build with Blue Horizon, we cover the government permit fee and manage every form, drawing, and submission — start to finish.

How It Works

From Shoreline Walk to Finished Dock

You stay involved — not buried in paperwork. Here's the full path, from the first phone call to the day you tie up your boat.

1

Lake-Side Consult

We walk your shoreline, talk through layout, water depth, and what you actually want to do on the dock — swim, fish, store, entertain.

2

Blueprint & Quote

Floating or fixed, slip layout, lift sizing, decking material. You get a clear price and a build plan you can hand to a neighbor.

3

Permits & Approvals

We file the paperwork, cover the government permit fee, and manage every back-and-forth. Your job is to wait for the water.

4

Build & Hand Over

Our crew rolls in on our own work barge, builds clean, and hands you a finished dock with the lifts installed and tested.
