Field Notes

Built by the people who answer the phone.

Blue Horizon is owned and run by brothers Christian and Sergio Rodriguez. We build, repair, and replace docks on every major lake within reach of Chattanooga — and a long list of private lakes in between.

Every dock leaves our shop on driven posts or marine-grade aluminum frames, with hardware spec’d for the water it lives on. No subbing it out. No surprise hand-offs. From the first shoreline walk to the final board, you talk to the people doing the work.

Permits

TVA 26a Permits

We file the application, cover the $1,000 government fee, and manage TVA until the approval lands.

How It Works →
Process

From shoreline walk to cast-off in four phases.

01

Lake-Side Consult

We walk your shoreline. Sun angle, depth, drawdown, sight lines — all logged before we draw anything.

02

Blueprint & Quote

Floating or fixed, slip layout, lift sizing, decking material. A real plan and a real price.

03

Permits & Approvals

We file the paperwork and cover the $1,000 TVA fee. Your job is to wait for the water.

04

Build & Hand-Over

Our crew on our barge. Finished dock with lifts installed and tested. No punch list, no hand-offs.

Field Capability

We bring the barge.

Our own work barge, our own crane, our own crew. We don’t sub the install out to a third party with a different idea of how the dock should sit on your shoreline.

Service Area

Where we work.

Headquartered in Chattanooga with Watts Bar as our primary lake. Active across East and Middle Tennessee plus North Alabama — and a long list of private lakes in between.
